Fort Fest made its debut this year in the picturesque countryside of Bedfordshire and despite a very disappointing turnout, it was a thoroughly enjoyable weekend. For a first time festival, the level of organisation was superb and the line-up and sound quality were up there with the best of the season. Hopefully we’ll get to do it again next year and I’ll certainly be doing my bit to promote the event and encourage more attendees in 2017.

Fort Fest can certainly be applauded for attracting some of the country’s most notable alternative acts. The well curated itinerary also allows less established, upcoming acts to share the stage with some of their more experienced peers and with all the action taking place on one main stage, the dreaded festival problem of clashes is easily avoided.
