I had a chat with The Dear Hunter front-man Casey Crescenzo ahead of their first UK headlining show in Nottingham last week where we talked a lot about the upcoming new record Act IV: Rebirth in Reprise and how the inclusion of the whole band in the song-writing process brought out the best in the music. Other highlights included an insight into Casey’s writing process for his symphony Armor & Attrition, how he challenged himself by writing ‘simple’ album Migrant and his plans for a graphic novel series.
